Notice of Extension of Public Comment Period

for Ecosystem Regulations

A Notice of Proposed Regulatory Action to amend the California Code of Regulations, title 23, sections 5001-5015, inclusive, and add section 5005.1, Appendix 3A, Appendix 4A, and Appendix 8A was published in the California Regulatory Notice Register on March 29, 2024. The proposed regulation amendments implement five core strategies for achieving the coequal goals of protecting, restoring, and enhancing the Delta ecosystem that form the basis of the policies, recommendations, and performance measures in the Delta Plan.

The notice initiated a public comment period that was scheduled to close on May 14, 2024. An interested party has requested the Council extend the public comment period, and the Council is extending that public comment period to Friday, May 17, 2024, at 5:00 PM.

Any interested person or their authorized representative may submit written comments regarding this proposed regulation to the Council as follows.
