Notice of Proposed Rule Change
Combined Community Rules & Regulations
Dear Homeowners,
This message is intended to notify you of additional changes the Board is considering adopting to the Combined Community Rules & Regulations (CCR&Rs).
The proposed change is to Table 2: Monetary Penalties for Speeding within PGA WEST and applies to moving violations (i.e. speeding, failure to stop at a marked intersection, entering through exit lane, etc.) by adding the following paragraph:
In the case of moving violations, the multiplier will apply to repeated violations on a vehicle-by-vehicle basis (including golf carts), and therefore will only be applied in the case of repeated violations by the same vehicle within the 13-month period.

The purpose of the rule change is to modify the process by which moving violations and repeated violations of same are processed. The effect of the rule change is moving violations will be processed on a vehicle-by-vehicle basis and held to a 13-month standard regarding repeated violations.
This notice is provided to you in accordance with California Civil Code section 4360, which requires us to provide the Members with a minimum of twenty-eight (28) days general notice of proposed rule changes. The draft CCR&Rs are also available in hard copy format at the Weiskopf Gatehouse (56144 PGA Blvd., La Quinta, CA 92253).
The purpose of this notice is to offer Members an opportunity to provide comments and opinions on the revised CCR&Rs.
The Board will consider adoption of the proposed CCR&Rs at its meeting scheduled on September 11, 2025. Please provide your written comments, if any, regarding the proposed rules by Friday, September 5, 2025 to our General Manager, Cassie Gertz, at Cassie.Gertz@managementtrust.com. The Board will review all comments prior to making a decision on the revised rules.
