NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING AND 30-DAY COMMENT PERIOD
The Johnson City Metropolitan Transportation Planning Organization (MTPO) is seeking public input on the draft 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). The MTP covers transportation planning 25 years into the future for the cities and towns of Bluff City, Johnson City, Elizabethton, Jonesborough, Unicoi, and Watauga and portions of Washington, Carter, and Sullivan counties. An open house style public meeting to gather important input from area residents is scheduled for Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 4:00-5:30 p.m. at the Langston Centre, 2nd Floor Gymnasium, 315 Elm Street, Johnson City, TN. The public is invited to drop in anytime at their convenience.
The public is also encouraged to review and submit comments on the draft of the MTP. Comments are due by Friday, December 9, 2022. Please see below links to the draft of the 2050 MTP and the online comment form.
