Notice of Vote
A meeting of the Desert Horizons Owners Association
will be held on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 3 pm
at the Clubhouse on Golf Course Acquisition.
Dear Members of Desert Horizons Owners Association,
There will be a meeting of Members at 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at the Club House, 44-900 Desert Horizons Drive, Indian Wells, CA 92210, unless switched to a virtual venue.
The purpose of this meeting will be to tabulate votes on measures related to acquisition by the Desert Horizons Owners Association of the Desert Horizons Golf Club and related assets. This will include, at minimum, a vote to acquire the assets of the Club, to approve special assessment(s) and/or an increase in regular assessments to fund community and amenity improvements and to approve Governing Document modifications as needed to effectuate the acquisition.
A voting package that will include a ballot and instructions for return will be mailed to the membership at least 30 days prior to this Member Meeting. Upon receipt of your voting package, the ballots should be returned via mail in the included self-addressed envelopes to: The Inspectors of Election, P.O. Box 131778, Carlsbad, CA 92013 by 5:00 PM on Friday, April 23, 2021.
You are encouraged to participate in this important vote for our community. Please check your mail shortly after March 24, 2021 for your voting package. We look forward to receiving your ballot and hope to see you at the Member Meeting on April 25, 2021.
Pursuant to Civil Code Section 5107(a)(7), as a Member of the Association, you have a right to verify the accuracy of your individual information (i.e., name, voting power and mailing or physical address/parcel number) on the voter list, at least thirty (30) days before the ballots are to be distributed.
