In the wake of the Prime Minister of Belize, Hon. John Briceño, declaring a Hurricane Watch (Red 1) for the entire coast of Belize on October 31st, 2022, the Belize Tourism Board urges all our hotels, tourist accommodations, tour operators, tour guides, restaurants, and tourism service providers, to put into effect their respective hurricane management plans, and make necessary preparations to safeguard your employees, guests, and property. The Belize Tourism Board also encourages all to stay tuned to the official advisories of the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO), for updates on Tropical Storm Lisa.
