The sidewalk along westbound Georgetown Pike between Balls Hill Road and the ramp from southbound I-495 will be closed through Friday, Nov. 13. Pedestrians should stay alert, follow posted detour signs and use extra caution when traveling in this area.
Additionally, the right lane of westbound Georgetown Pike in this area will be closed periodically during weekday, daytime hours during this timeframe. Closures will be implemented as needed for sidewalk and retaining wall construction work, and may occur from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays.
Drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians should use caution when traveling in this area. In the event of inclement weather or other delays, this work may be rescheduled or prolonged.
