Dear NDA Alumni Family,

We are reaching out to you today to make sure you are aware that sadly, the Sisters will be returning to France in June, and that Notre Dame Academy will become a parochial school operated by St. Therese of Carmel Catholic Church, under the support and guidance of the Catholic Diocese of San Diego. 

Sr. Marie-Vianney Ressegand, Superior General of the Sisters’ order, prepared a letter explaining the circumstances surrounding this decision. Please click the button below to review:   

On Sunday, June 4th, we will give thanks and celebrate the Sisters at the 11am Mass at St. Therese of Carmel, followed by an informal gathering on Campus. We are inviting all of our our alumni families, as well as Staff members both past and present, current families, and parishioners, to attend this special event to say "Au Revoir" to our beloved Sisters.

We also invite you to consider contributing to a memory book that will highlight the impact the Sisters have had on all of us. Please consider sharing photos, memories or stories during your time at NDA with the Sisters. This memory book will be presented to the Sisters at the Mass on June 4th.

All of us will sorely miss the daily presence of the Sisters on campus, but we will strive to preserve the legacy they leave us through the traditions and values they have nurtured in each of us.

Although the circumstances of the gathering on June 4th are not what we would have asked for, we do look forward to this NDA reunion as a time to reconnect and commemorate our “One Family, Always United”.
