Who says the spooky season has to end on Halloween? Trade your trick-or-treat for something truly spellbinding the very next evening...

Mobile Ballet brings a dream to life on Saturday, November 1 at 7:30pm with the premiere of The Phantom of the Opera ballet at the stunning Saenger Theatre!

"Creating The Phantom of the Opera as a ballet has been a dream project for me," says Artistic Director Katia Garza. "Since Mobile Ballet will be performing at the Saenger until a new theater is built, I wanted to design productions that highlight the beauty and character of this historic venue."

The Saenger proves to be the perfect setting for this ambitious production, which opens Mobile Ballet’s 2025-2026 Season. Garza's adaptation draws inspiration from the original novel, the play, and the film, reimagining the iconic story through dance. "This version isn’t as dark as some," she explains. "Striking imagery, haunting melodies, and powerful choreography weave together love, drama, and mystery– a celebration of storytelling through movement."

Guest artist Daniel Benavides leads as the Phantom, joined by dancers Zach Bennett, Kris Nobles, and Israel Rodriguez, along with the Mobile Ballet Company.

Performance tickets range from $25 to $69. Seats are almost sold out! If you don't have your tickets yet, don't delay!
