Message from President Sara Beacham
Greetings!

Welcome to the last month of the calendar year. It’s December! Hard to believe, but we are wrapping up the last month of the year and heading into 2022. As I was writing my President’s review of the last several months, I can honestly say that we crammed an entire year’s worth of activities into just a few months. In other words, we have been busy!

The work’s not done yet. We have another business meeting this Wednesday, December 1. I hope you plan to attend. There’s a lot going on in our club – awards and scholarships are coming up, including the Live Your Dream award. I can’t wait for our awards programs. We also have a couple of planning meetings for Dream It, Be It and my President’s Project event. Dream It, Be It will meet on Friday, December 10, 2021, at 12:00 noon at La Comida. The President’s Project ad hoc will meet Saturday morning, December 11, 2021 (time and place to be determined).

We also have several hands-on projects happening for the holiday, like Salvation Army bell ringing and the holiday shop for the Boys & Girls Club of Northern California. We are lucky that we get to be involved in so many different projects around the community. I look forward to seeing our Soroptimist members around Chico doing good and spreading cheer around this holiday season

See you Wednesday!

President Sara
