Saturday, December 4th - B.L.A.S.T. Event - Walk to the Nativity & Scottsville Holiday Event
Calling All Bakers from Mt. Zion & SUMC
 December 4th, the B.L. A.S.T. event, A Walk to the Nativity, will be from 11 a.m. to 1:00 and we are also participating in the Scottsville Holiday Event. We need your help providing cookies and serving hot chocolate on the front lawn from 11 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Hot chocolate will be provided) Please bring 2 dozen or more cookies, 2 per ziploc bag to be served with hot chocolate. You may sign up alone or with a partner. 
SUMC will pass around a sign-up sheet during worship this Sunday and Mt. Zion can email Mary Curtis at to sign-up. You may email before Sunday to get your preferred time on a first come first serve basis. You may sign up for one or two hour time slots.

Our 2022 Calendar Fundraiser is now underway

Calendars are now available for pick-up in the Narthex

Please make a $24 donation for each calendar ordered.
Proceeds will allow each artist to receive $1.50 and provide a bi-weekly devotion for 10 inmates.

  • Jean Shepard, friend of Sharon Wormser, her husband died suddenly after a stroke/fall.
