COMBINED CYCLE Journal invites you to attend

HRSG Forum: Real-Time Damage Monitoring of HRSG Components

Open to HRSG Users
Open to HRSG Suppliers
Open to HRSG Consultants

Session Overview

During this webinar, several case studies of HRSG real-time online monitoring show how damage tracking allows plant owners to avoid damaging operating windows, defer or plan inspections, or alter control logic.

Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. has successfully implemented a real-time, online damage monitoring system for HRSGs and desuperheaters at several combined cycle plants. The system is configured to quantify and monitor the life-limiting effects of creep and fatigue at select locations on each plant (e.g., attemperators, headers, and drums).

Attendee Takeaways

  • Learn about the technology available for real-time monitoring of the health & integrity of power plant equipment.
  • Hear from plant engineers regarding their experience and benefits of monitoring attemperators and headers.
  • Have an opportunity to ask industry experts questions on equipment aging and mechanical integrity.

About HRSG Forum

The purposes of this user group are to produce educational events to further the technical development and expertise of those persons involved in designing, procuring, managing, operating, and maintaining power generation plants that incorporate Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs), to facilitate maximizing equipment reliability and minimize operating costs, and to foster improved communications between owner/operators and equipment manufacturers, and service providers. HRSG Forum is organized exclusively for educational and technical purposes.
