How to reduce junk email

Many think that clicking "unsubscribe" in an email is a good way to get less junk email. However, spammers use that to confirm they've reached a real person, and then send you more junk/spam!

Now is a good time to buy a new computer/device

Prices for new computers and devices around at the end of the year are generally lower, and there's some good deals going on right now!

Since you’ll likely be spending the next 5-10 years or more with your next computer or device, please take a few minutes now to make an informed decision about what to look for in a new computer and accessories.

Please consider our IN-HOME services to get your new computer or device setup quickly and properly, vs. the chain stores offerings, or attempting the task yourself.

New scam: Your internet service provider IS NOT offering a 50% discount

We've been hearing about an increase in calls, texts and emails claiming to be from Spectrum and AT&T offering a large discount - usually 50% - on your bill. Scammers use this "deal" to entice people to call, but victims end up giving out account numbers and other personal and financial information, because they are told they need to pay for deposits, equipment upgrades, or other fees. Spectrum and AT&T have web pages with information about the scams. Click here to listen to the recording - but DO NOT call the number.

Another recent scam is supposedly from the Microsoft fraud department informing you that the phone number on your account has changed, and you are urged to call if you didn't make the change. Click here to listen to the recording.

Watch our featured video showing a fake security pop-up telling you that your PC has been blocked, and to call the number presented for "Windows Support". As mentioned before, you should NEVER call a number that pops up on your screen. In the video we show you how to close out of these pop-ups whenever they occur.
