Bus expectations reminder
1. If a family members or friends comes on or to a MAS bus stop or school to address, harass or harm a MAS student/ staff member, or bus driver your student will be expelled from MAS and/or expelled from buses the rest of the school year. The safety of everyone associated with MAS is our first priority so this behavior will not be tolerated. Parents, please bring all concerns to MAS staff.
2. Level 1 violations eating or drinking on the bus, littering on the bus, yelling out the bus window, use of profanity on the bus, and violations of any other level 1 bus or school rules. Will result in parent phone call, detention, community service, and among other consequences as determined by the Transportation Coordinator.
3. Remember that bullying, harassment, standing on bus, and walking on bus while in motion, and refusal to cooperate with bus driver, use of profanity at a bus driver, throwing items at students/bus or out the bus window. This is a level 2 violation and you can be suspended from school and the bus.
4. Pushing/shoving/kicking students, and fighting or chronic violations of level 1 or 2 rules and violations of any other level 3 violation and you will be an immediately given a suspension from the bus/ school while the situation is being reviewed. These violations may result in a CDRB hearing.
