LEADERSHIP UPDATES

To each of you, thanks again for doing your part. Let's continue to work together to minimize the spread of the virus whenever possible. We continue to follow COVID-19 protocols related to the county dashboard as directed by the Indiana State Department of Health this week. We remain in close contact with county and city officials and the regulations in place for Huntington County. Please continue to help us by wearing your mask when you enter/exit the building, and any time you are not actively engaged in activity and do your part by disinfecting all equipment before and after use. If you feel the time you are coming to workout is busier than you like, try to come at a different or off-peak time.

Our pools and exercise programs continue to take reservations through our website to monitor class sizes and our wellness center is monitored for capacity limits. Other programs continue to comply with group size recommendations and our enhanced cleaning schedule remains in place.

Holiday Hours

Thanksgiving: We will be closed on Thursday, November 26th for Thanksgiving. The rest of this week we will be open our normal hours.

Christmas: We will close at 1pm on Christmas Eve (Thursday, December 24) and will be closed on Christmas Day, (Friday, December 25).

New Years: We will close at 1pm on New Years Eve (Thursday, December 31) and will be closed on New Years Day, (Friday, January 1, 2021).

COMMUNITY SUPPORT OPTIONS

Turkey Trot from home!

You can still trot on Thanksgiving Day. Read more about the 16th Annual Pathfinder Kids Kampus Turkey Trot or sign up by clicking on the photo.

The first 1,100 registrants will receive a cinch bag at packet pickup at the Huntington University Fieldhouse on Wed. Nov. 25th from noon to 6 p.m. Cost is $20.

Bedtime Boxes are a way for families to establish a healthy bedtime routine. Support the United Way on Giving Tuesday through their "text to give". A $10 donation supports one child.

From now until November 29 we are collecting Coats for Kids in the main lobby. You may drop off your new or gently used winter coats (children's sizes 6 through adult sizes) to help give the gift of a coat this holiday season. Hats, gloves and scarves also collected. Thanks so much to those who have contributed thus far.

PLAY AND LEARN

REMINDER FOR MEMBERS: Beginning December 2nd, Play and Learn will be open Monday-Friday mornings from 9am-11am. There is no maximum time limit for your children attending Play and Learn. Please continue to sign up your child to attend. Continuing to sign up allows us to maintain appropriate staff and child ratios. Note: If a child has been quarantined from attending school they should not be attending play and learn.

Kids age 7-12 may attend the Y but must been enrolled in a current program or have a parent in the building. We continue to follow guidance in our "Reopening Responsibly" document.
