Passionate about

what I do

This time of year brings out the saying quite often, "I don't have time for this" or "I don't have time to finish that" or "There is no time to _________".  Time is one of our most precious assets and we only get a certain amount of it.

As this next holiday season comes upon us, how will you use your time?  I invite you to read the poem below that I keep as a reminder in my office when I feel as though I have no time.  While I do not usually reference religion in my newsletters, note that this poem does contain a bible quote at the end and several references to God.  I challenge you to choose just one line of this poem to carry with you through this holiday season and reflect when the season is over, did it help me to value my time just a little bit more?

As always, please pass along this newsletter to anyone you feel may benefit from it's content.

Sincerely,

From The Positive Perspective......

Take Time: An Old English Prayer
Author: Unknown

Take time to think, it is the source of power.

Take time to read, it is the foundation of wisdom.

Take time to play, it is the secret of staying young.

Take time to be quiet, it is the opportunity to seek God.

Take time to be aware, it is the opportunity to help others.

Take time to love and be loved, it is God's greatest gift.

Take time to laugh, it is the music of the soul.

Take time to be friendly, it is the road to happiness.

Take time to dream, it is what the future is made of.

Take time to pray, it is the greatest power of earth.

There is a time for everything...
This last line is from Ecclesiastes 3:1 in the bible.
