Reaching Our World For Christ
From Your Associational Mission Strategist
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.  Psalm 107:1

This month we will spend time with family and friends thanking God for His many blessings! We truly have a lot to be thankful for. I know that many of us are thankful for His protection from the Hurricane and we thank Him for His provision after the storm. We were reminded how God truly does care for us! As I think about the things that I am thankful for, I can say that I have a long list of things. I just want to share with you just a few things I am thankful to God for everyday. First, I am thankful to God for my salvation. I certainly don’t know where I would be today if God had not forgiven me and provided His wonderful gift of salvation through His son. I am thankful for my family. They are such a great blessing to me and I try not to take them for granted. My wife is my strongest encourager in my life and I couldn’t be the kind of leader today if it weren’t for her. I am very thankful for our Pastors and our churches in our Association. I have had the blessing of being a part of this association for eight years! I count it a great blessing and joy to serve our Association and I pray daily that God will help me to be the mission strategist that will honor Him and that I will faithfully serve our Association. I can go on with many other things that I am thankful for, but these are at the top of my list! It is my prayer that we will give thanks everyday and live out our lives in such a way that others will know there is a God who loves them and desires to have a relationship with those that are lost in their sin.
