The Health and Hope Clinic:

Giving Health and Hope to our Community!

Finishing Strong with Project VEO!

As we wind down our work on project VEO (Vaccination, Education, and Outreach)-- we are thankful for the dedicated staff and volunteer members of the Health & Hope Clinic Pensacola who over the last 7 months were able to give COVID-19 Shots and Boosters to more than 1,400 citizens in our community! This team went out to festivals, sporting events, and large community gatherings--they brought the care to the community! A special shout out goes to our outstanding team leader for project VEO, Catherine Yoo. Way to go!

"Rock Star" Volunteer of The Month:

Dr. Noel Spurlock

"Sara Davy, my neighbor who volunteers at the Clinic, informed me of this incredible opportunity [to volunteer at Health and Hope]. I came down to the Clinic and asked if they needed help. I started seeing patients shortly after!

I work in Dental, and this work is extremely meaningful in helping people who are suffering from oral pain. Most of these patients have no other means to get treatment, so getting them out of pain is significant for me.

I’ve learned patience while volunteering here-and there are so many great memories from the volunteer work here to choose from it is difficult to pick one favorite from them; but generally, meeting the people volunteering and getting to know and serve with them creates great memories. Everyone who volunteers here has such a great attitude.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and grandkids!"

Team Health & Hope Clinic Shows up to Support the Making Strides against Breast Cancer Walk!

The spirited volunteers, staff, and supporters of the Health & Hope Clinic Pensacola showed up in a big way to support the Pensacola area's largest annual walk/fundraiser to support the fight against Breast Cancer. Thanks to everyone who got up, braved the rainstorms, and showed up to walk!

Encourager stats September:

-- 38 Gospel Conversations

-- 106 Prayers and Encouragements

-- 9 Salvations

Who does the Health & Hope Clinic Serve?

Demographics for October 2022: we saw 423 unique patients in October (236 female, 187 male), and we provided 706 total patient visits.

Here are the highlights:

-108 Dental visits provided

- 15 Veterans served

- 16 Homeless patients served

Racial Breakdown:

-17 % African American

-76 % White

-5% Hispanic

-2 % Asian

We will have our once yearly fundraiser, the Christmas at the Clinic Gala, on Tuesday, November 29th--please save the date and join us. Learn more about the event and how you can plug in to assist and support our efforts, below
