📣 Brix Marine is recruiting for a part-time AP/Payroll Clerk. This position offers a flexible schedule of 20-25 hours/week in the fun world of custom boat-building!

The local AARP Foundation Tax Aide program in Port Angeles/Sequim/Forks is actively recruiting volunteers to train in tax preparation and filing. 

This training is free - materials provided, IRS certification, etc., and laptops are provided at our tax sites. Many business owners and their employees look for opportunities to expand their skill sets , and this is such an avenue. We do tax returns for self-employed small businesses within our guidelines, but also the public at large.

This program - volunteers and those served - is NOT limited to seniors. Rather, persons of all ages.

All Right Here is a snowboard film about Mount Baker, produced by and featuring professional snowboard athlete Mary Rand; co-produced, edited, and filmed by Liam O. Gallagher. Mary resides in Port Angeles in the summer and Mt. Baker (Glacier, WA) for the winter season while Liam lives in Bellingham. Together the Washington natives created a short film that embodies the heart and soul of the community, the place, and the sport.

A tribute to what Mary loves and finds most meaningful about the area, this film screening is also a fundraiser for Bellingham non-profit Vamos Outdoors Project. Founded in 2018, Vamos is working to build community and outdoor access for Latine, migrant, and multilingual youth and their families. A gear raffle will be held, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to Vamos. 100% of beer sales, Rainier and June Shine hard kombucha, will also be donated to the organization. Come celebrate our community and fund raise with Mary.
