November brought fall weather, beautiful colors, and lots of fun from the PTA! Check out all the ways your donations and volunteer hours have had a positive impact on our schools and students!

November Recap:

  • Red Hawk Council gave 4th graders the opportunity to learn about the Native American experience, as well as to see and interact with historical and current Native American tools and technologies
  • Students contributed to Totem Pole Art Projects in recognition of Native American Heritage Month
  • 1st Graders learned first hand about the journaling writing process from a favorite author, Angelo DeCesare, and his book Flip's Fantastic Journal
  • All our amazing students enjoyed the prizes earned during the PTA's fall Read-a-thon, including a Popcorn Party during a Book-based movie
  • Finally, November was Native American Heritage Month. If you didn't have a chance yet, check out these resources shared by the PTA with teachers and parents to help our students learn more about the lives and contributions of Native Americans

And of course, a huge thank you to all of our PTA Committee Chairs, Volunteers, and Board Members who helped make these events a success!
