Pastor Sarah is honored to share this letter with our congregation.

Praise the lord!
We thank God for his blessings that is why we still alive until today. God has managed us Mtera parish to have busy year for conducting different activities such finishing the construction of a building church at Kinyali street using funds from our friends at St. Paul Lutheran, opening street at Makatapora and at main station (Mtera street) we have started constructing a big church using contributions
from our people in the church as source of income, till now we reached at renter stage.

We expect next year if God wishes we will complete our church at main station. Soon after completing at main station will shift at Mlimani street to start building a new church. All these activities depend on the seasonality fluctuation since our  Christians  are peasants, livestock keepers, fisheries and some of them are civil servant.

Generally some of activities depend on the rain seasonally. In this year we experienced heavy drought in our areas. It's our plans 2020-2022 to have good buildings for worshiping in parish.

We convey our greetings to everyone there at St.Paul Lutheran. The first mission is to pray for one another, so we are love you and still praying for you.

Love in Christ Jesus

Service Opportunities at Saint Paul Lutheran!
Each week we will highlight opportunities for you to serve in your congregation. Watch this space for details!
  • Building Cleaning: You are needed to clean your church! Each week members of our congregation clean the building. It is your turn!  Please sign up on the clipboard at the welcome center. A list of duties is attached to the sign up.
Make it a family event! Clean on an afternoon then get pizza for dinner to celebrate your service!

Two members have covered the cleaning for September and October but they will be gone in November. WE NEED YOU!
If you or your family use a space in the building, please remember to clean it up when you are done. Leave it nicer than you found it as a welcome to the next people who will be there. Think of it as Paying it Forward.
Operation Christmas Child
We will be packing the boxes after service on Sunday, November 3rd in the music room.  Anyone in the congregation is invited to help.

It is cold and flu season. Please take care of yourself and your loved ones.
