On the Road Again!
Congratulations to the team at SCRIC who put together a tremendous Leadership & Innovation Showcase in Binghamton and to the team at NYSSBA - what an event in Buffalo last week! Of course, we cannot forget our great friends an partners at SAANYS, whose conference just concluded in Cooperstown. Always great to so many familiar faces at these tremendous events across the state.
Speaking of which - we have 2 coming up next week - Hudson Valley Regional, being held at Wappingers CSD in on Tuesday, November 7 and North Country Collaborative will be held at Clarkson University on Thursday, November 9! Come out and join us!

The Countdown has begun!
It is really hard to believe that the Annual Conference is only 17 days away! Numbers are looking great for attendance and the exhibit floor is completely sold out! We currently have over 50 classrooms signed up for STEAMfest on Friday and the MakerFaire is shaping up to be another amazing event. If you would like to help out in any way - please volunteer! We could use assistance for the STEAMfest with well over 1000 students onsite, it is a great day to help out and fill your cup for sure!

NYSCATE Focus Group Session
Panelists Needed!
Each year, NYSCATE and our Corporate Council members conduct focus group meetings to discuss key areas in the development and implementation of their various products and services. These council members look for engaged NYSCATE members to interact and provide assistance.
We will be hosting in-person focus group sessions during the 2023 Annual Conference in Rochester, NY on November 19 - 20, 2023. Each session will last 75 minutes and will include 6 to 8 NYSCATE member along with a session facilitator and representatives from the council member company. If you are attending the annual conference and would like to be a panelist, please click on the button below to sign up as soon as possible. If selected for a session, you will be notified by email for your session(s). NYSCATE will award you a $25 Amazon gift card for each session you attend.

Ideamapper launches The Mind Mapping Micro Grant
The Ideamapper Mind Mapping Micro Grant is a fully funded initiative which will provide an unlimited site license for up to five schools. Each site license will provide access to all students and their teachers to Ideamapper, including professional development and support for all educators involved in the implementation for a full school year, up to $10,000 value per award! Approximately $50,000 will be awarded across the United States as part of this Ideamapper Mind Mapping Micro Grant inaugural program.
Winners of the Ideamapper Mind Mapping Micro Grant 2023 will receive:
- An unlimited school-wide license - For use in classrooms, across all academic subject areas and grades as determined by the school/district team.
- Onboarding support and professional development to support successful implementation. Plus ongoing complimentary support to ensure maximum engagement and efficacy.
