Your News & Updates from the Office of Community Engagement and Constituent Services (CECS)
Dear Community Leaders and Members of District 7,

Happy Tuesday! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend and were able to find a way to show your appreciation to all our veterans yesterday.

The County Executive was very pleased that the County Council adopted amendments last week that restored some protections and strength to the forest conservation bill. On November 18th, the amended bill will have a public hearing and will then be eligible for a vote. The County Executive is thankful for the Councilmembers who supported strengthening the bill, and encourages the Council to pass the bill on November 18th.

On Tuesday, November 19th the County Executive will be holding a town hall at Arundel High School to discuss transportation issues. He will share his vision on the future of transportation in Anne Arundel County, and will be joined by forward-thinking transportation experts to hear your concerns and answer your questions. The County Executive will be sharing your ideas with county, state, and federal officials, so come have your voice be heard!

Have a great week!

Best,

James Kitchin
