Our Sunday school and nursery are both open today. Sunday school begins in the upper hall at 9:45, with children returning to their families at the sharing of the Peace. The nursery is open every Sunday from 9:45-11:30. Families are always welcome!

Old Testament Roots of Jesus Study

This week we are celebrating the Feast Day of St. Elizabeth of Hungary. In recognition of this liturgical season, we are highlighting the impactful work of St. Elizabeth's Essentials Pantry which is an intricate part of the St. Luke's community as well as the entire Diocese of Maine.

What is St. Elizabeth's Essentials Pantry

St. Elizabeth’s is a low-barrier pantry serving non-food essentials to all those in need, including new Mainers and Mainers whose families have been here for generations. It is a mission of the Episcopal Diocese of Maine. St. Luke’s generously shares their space with the Pantry.

Donate and Get Involved with St. E's

Often when I hear about a cause or a group doing good work I think “That is really nice, but I am not sure what I can do about it.” Think of the St E Donation Card like a postcard that you can stick on your fridge as a reminder of how you can take action and be part of the good work we are doing. Consider buying a package of diapers, or finding a coat or sweater from your closet or some children’s books you might have tucked away and bring them to church on a Sunday or

drop them off at St E’s on a Tuesday morning. Our neighbors and all of the St E volunteers will be grateful for your support.

Weekly Ministries

St. Elizabeth's Jubilee Center is offered every Tuesday from 8:30 am to 11 am.
The Food Pantry is open from 9 am to 11 am every Thursday.
Noon prayer is offered every Wednesday via Zoom.
The Tuesday 12:10 Eucharist gathers weekly in Emmanuel Chapel. Join via Zoom.
Contemplative Prayer is offered every Thursday at 4:30 pm via Zoom.
