Today is Give to the Max Day!

Just about anyone living in MN knows that today is Give to the Max Day! We are all being showered with emails and phone calls from the multitude of non-profit organizations in MN asking us to donate. Through this flurry of Give to the Max communication, please take a final moment to reflect on why you should donate to TCGIS and why your financial contribution to TCGIS is so critical to your child's education!  You can easily donate via Square ( https://squareup.com/store/tcgis ) on our website or by bringing a check to our office. The latter is the fee-free way to donate and lets every dollar of your donation land at the school.
Date of District 10 Meetings CHANGED

District 10 Land Use changed to Wednesday, 12/5/2018 at 7:00pm at the Streetcar Station. This is the meeting we need ALL D-10 residents to attend and support the school's variances. Any D-10 resident can vote at the land use meeting, so please show up to show your support!

Additionally, the District 10 Community Council meeting changed to Tuesday, 12/18/2018 at 7:00pm at the Streetcar Station. Anyone can attend this meeting. We hope you can join us and show your support!

Please note that the changing dates are due to the timing of future meetings with the city of St. Paul. We appreciate your respect of district council representatives as they are volunteers trying to help TCGIS navigate the city's processes.
Exploration of New TCGIS High School Pathway in Western Metro

We are excited to announce that  we are exploring another high school pathway for TCGIS grads (in addition to St Paul Central) to serve families in the western metro. We're working on an agreement with St Louis Park High School that would be similar to what is currently offered by St Paul Central - a program exclusively for TCGIS grads tailored to their advanced level of German. Our goal would be to have this option available for the 2019/2020 academic year.  If you live or work in the western metro this may be an attractive option for you!

We need your input! To make this a viable option for St Louis Park HS, we need to provide them with data on number of students who would take advantage of this option.  If you are at all interested in this option please take this survey by December 1.

For more information on St Louis Park HS and their excellent German program please click here. For more information on this option contact Dianne Bell at 612-554-1332 or dbell@tcgis.org.

Buy a Beautiful MN Scarf from Frau Carroll and Support TCGIS

Are you a fan of the north shore? Frau Carroll's scarf design was inspired by the endless beauty one encounters when you head "up north." The pullover unisex scarf has a two layers of fleece and blocks the wind quite well when you are out in the elements. By german standards, it fulfills all the criteria to be a good product: functions well, made well and out of quality material.

We are selling 50 scarves total @ $25.00 per scarf. $5 of every scarf sale goes to support international programs at TCGIS. You can pick up a scarf at the Front Office or during St. Martin's celebration.

The soccer season of the 5th/6th grade team ended last Wednesday. The team remained unbeaten over the course of the season. The school can be proud of the players' effort and sportsmanship. Thank you for the support to all the parents, friends, and teachers that supported the team during the games. May the next season be just as fun and successful.
