The 38th Annual Dayspring Preschool and Kindergarten Holiday Boutique is from 9am-7pm this Friday, November 17, and 9am-4pm this Saturday, November 18. Featuring more than 50 local vendors, food, raffles, entertainment and more, this is our preschool’s primary fundraiser and helps the school pay for things that are outside of the operating budget (including financial aid, playground equipment, professional development for teachers, books for the library, and more!)

BORDERLANDS PRODUCE RESCUE | The 2023-24 Borderlands Produce Rescue season is just around the corner. Dayspring partners with Borderlands to bring unsold fresh produce from regional farms directly to our neighborhoods. Starting the third Saturday of November, we will host a monthly event for the Arcadia neighborhood. Volunteers are needed to pack food boxes of approximately 70lbs. This is a great chance to spend time in the neighborhood, interact with neighbors, reduce food waste and bring healthy food to local families. Our next event is November 18 from 6:00 - 11am. If you’re interested, please email Amy.

The Dayspring congregation helps to offer compassion in action by taking care of one another when someone is hurting or in need or when we share our resources to assist those in desperate situations. We know that abundance isn't genuine abundance until it is shared by all, so we are committed to including everyone through justice and love. We raise our voices against inequity, discrimination, and biases experienced by those we call neighbors. We live out our mission of working to make God's world more peaceful, just, compassionate and inclusive.
Please plan on joining us this Sunday, November 19, for our combined Stewardship and Thanksgiving Sunday service at 10:00am. During the service, we will ask you to bring our pledge cards forward to show our commitment to the future work of our church. You can also fill out a pledge online.

During a Taizé service, we sing uncomplicated, repetitive songs, uncluttered by too many words, allowing the mystery of God to become known through the beauty of simplicity. Email Pastor Shirley for more information. The next service is Sunday, November 19 at 4pm in the Fellowship Hall.

We are collecting new and gently used books to refill the Little Free Library by our Giving Garden. Current children’s books are in the highest demand, as are young adult fiction. INTRODUCING THE LOVE DUCK |
Look for and Share a Little Love…
During our annual All Church Conference, our District Superintendent Melissa Rynders gifted Dayspring a Love Duck to share. This duck will be hiding in a pew starting this Sunday, for someone to find. If you find it, note the church name, The Bridge, on the back. Offer a prayer for this church which is in our district. Next, you can pass the love around by placing it somewhere else in the church sanctuary before you leave. Let’s see how far our love can go for the rest of 2023!
