A MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL KUBUSKE
We appreciate everyone’s diligence in monitoring Covide-related symptoms as we work together as a school family to keep everyone safe. Children should stay home if they are experiencing the following symptoms: fever, sore throat, headache, body aches, fatigue, runny nose, stomach issues, and/or coughing.

It is important that students bring a clean mask to school each day. We have spare masks in the office, but children should not be relying upon them.

With the recent uptick in cases and subsequent quarantines, we want to remind everyone that we are following directives from Prevea and Brown County Health and Human Services. Holy Family is required to report cases and we follow the protocols of our healthcare partners.

On another note, if your child needs your assistance to get out of the car in the morning, please park your car and walk them into the building; do not stop in the car line. It has also been brought to our attention that people are parking in the handicap spots outside of Door 7 at dismissal. Please be mindful that we have parents, grandparents, and guardians who need access to handicap spaces.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS NEEDED

All GRACE schools, including Holy Family, are desperately trying to find substitute teachers. GRACE is offering the opportunity to sub in exchange for volunteer hours or payment. Please contact the office for more information. Holy Family would love to add your name to our list.
TRACK YOUR SERVICE HOURS

Record your volunteer hours (TSF and family) using the link below.

Every adult who volunteers at Holy Family is required to have a current background check on file, complete a VIRTUS training course, and sign a volunteer agreement each year.
VOLUNTEERING AT HOLY FAMILY
Volunteer requirements are mandated by the Diocese of Green Bay, and there are no exceptions. We strongly encourage everyone to go through the process because volunteer opportunities will come up and your name must be on our approved list prior to the event, whether it's chaperoning a field trip, selling Scrip, or helping in your child's classroom.

  • BACKGROUND CHECK Volunteers are required to provide personal references, sign a declaration form, and authorize a criminal background check (and receive a satisfactory report) Click here to complete the background check. Enter code: gbdioc04

  • All volunteers who have contact with children are required to complete VIRTUS Protecting God's Children training. Register here. The Green Bay Diocese is currently not offering in-person training, so all training is online.

Each month, our event calendar offers a variety of activities for your family as a way to support our school in meeting our fundraising goals. Each month we strive to offer a family-friendly event and an adult event. If you haven’t joined us yet, consider the events in October. This is a great way to continue to build strength in our school community among our families, our greatest assets!

Many of these events are not just open to the HFS families, we welcome and encourage you to spread the word to your community and families in support of this amazing school we have.

SCRIP
A Message from Scrip Coordinator

Scrip News

An important reminder that next week (22nd), we will NOT be processing orders either online or by sending in the pink envelopes! We will be selling scrip from 3-3:30 in the school lobby on Monday and Tuesday, as well as on the weekend at both SEAS and St. Agnes parishes(as long as there are sellers). You can also use the RaiseRight app to purchase e-cards or reload your physical cards.

Speaking of the RaiseRight app, November 18-19th is their annual Thank-scriping Days event with over 100 popular vendors offering bonus rebates to e-cards and reloads. They have also added $10 gift cards for some vendors during the holiday season which make great stocking stuffers!

I hope the kids have been busy asking friends and family to purchase scrip using the fundraiser sheet that was given out last week! Remember, the incentive is a nut pass for every 3 families that buy! Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns!

Please continue to monitor your children at home for Covid-related symptoms which can include but are not limited to fever, sore throat, headache, body aches, fatigue, runny nose, stomach issues, and coughing. If your children or anyone in your household is experiencing symptoms, students should stay home. Please call our school office to report absences or to report symptoms, concerns, exposures, or positive cases.
