Gloucester Collaboration Bridges Like-Named Localities to Celebrate Cultures and Histories

Gloucester County Virginia is joining the ranks of other like-named communities throughout the USA and abroad through the newly formed “Gloucester Collaboration.” A relationship that started through celebration and commemoration of Gloucester County, Virginia born Pocahontas, resulted in several visits back and forth with people from Gravesend, where Pocahontas is buried, and in Gloucester, England.

The inaugural Gloucester Collaborative event is scheduled to take place on Monday, March 21, 2022. To learn more, visit here.
