Stewardship

Stewardship Campaign

During the month of November, we will be hearing from members of our church about what Christ Church means to them and why they give to Christ Church.

As we reflect on the blessings and challenges of this season, we are reminded of the sacred calling we share: to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community.

Now, we stand at a crossroads—a moment not only to sustain our mission but to reimagine it. The world around us is changing, and so are the needs of our neighbors. This is our opportunity to listen deeply, dream boldly, and act faithfully. We are called to find new purpose in our ministry: to reach further, love deeper, and serve with renewed passion.

To do this, we need your continued support. Stewardship is more than financial giving—it is a spiritual practice, a commitment to the flourishing of our church and the transformation of our community. Whether through time, talent, or treasure, your contribution matters.

We invite you to prayerfully consider how you can be part of this next chapter. Let us come together, not just to maintain what we have, but to build what could be. With God’s guidance and your faithful partnership, we will continue to be a church that lives out the Gospel in word and deed.

Thank you for being part of this journey. May we walk forward together in hope, courage, and love.

What's Happening in the

Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts

October 19 at 8:47 AM

One year ago today we celebrated a joyful and historic moment in the life of our diocese: the ordination and consecration of The Rt. Rev. Julia E. Whitworth as the 17th Bishop Diocesan of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts.

More than 1,200 people gathered at Trinity Church, Boston—and many more joined online—for a Spirit-filled liturgy marking this milestone in our common life.

Today we give thanks for Bishop Whitworth’s first year of ministry among us: for her courage, compassion, and steadfast love for the people of our diocese. May God continue to bless her and guide us all in the years of ministry we will share together.

The 240th annual Diocesan Convention will be held

Friday-Saturday, Nov. 14-15, 2025,

at the Boston Marriott Burlington Hotel in Burlington.

Questions may be e-mailed to convention@diomass.org.

Christ Church Search Prayer

Almighty God, look graciously on the people of Christ Church. Be with us and lead us as we seek the next rector for our church. We ask your direction and guidance for those who shall choose our new spiritual leader, that we may receive an upright and faithful pastor who will care for your people and equip us for our ministries.

Grant us perception, faithfulness and joy, so that we may hear your voice in all our deliberations. Grant us also the desire and the ability to truly hear each other and those who have entrusted us with this process. Give us courage to respond and act as you lead us. We pray this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

Please pray for our search committee members:

Chairperson-Shirley Stasiowski, Julia Baker, Leslie Buxton, Pam Kirkpatrick, Alisha Nadeau, Julie Sanders, and Alan Scott.

Please prayerfully consider the following roles that we need help filling. We are all the Church and need to work together as we are able.

Thank you.

  • the Vestry has a few porsitons open. let Dave McCarthy or Jen Valiente know if you are interested in filling a position.
  • We are in need of a chairperson for the Stewardship Campaign. the diocese has resourses to assist with the campaign. please consider this role.
  • We also need parishioners who are willing to witness, to speak in church about why they give to Christ Church. if you are able to witness or have any questions please speak with Jen Valiente.

  • If you use a computer or play games on a tablet you can help us live stream the services. We would like to get a team together so no one person will have to be responsible for it every week. Please consider helping.

If you can help (we will train you), please let Jen Valiente, Dave McCarthy or the office know.

Our Web Site in under construction for better communication and making it easier locating content. Thank you for your patience.
