Dear Carondelet Community,
October has been filled with joy and connection on campus! It was wonderful to see so many of you at St. Marty’s Party this past Wednesday—a cherished Carondelet tradition that reflects the heart of our community and our students’ commitment to living our mission each and every day.
Earlier this month, I, along with several administrators, had the privilege of visiting our fellow Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph (CSJ) schools in San Diego and St. Louis. These gatherings were especially meaningful as we celebrate the 375th anniversary of the Sisters of St. Joseph, who began in 1650 when six women gathered in a small kitchen in Le Puy, France, united by a desire to serve their “dear neighbors.” From that humble kitchen, a global movement of faith and service was born. This spirit and charism is one that continues to inspire our work today as we educate young women to lead with heart, faith, courage, and excellence.
We’re also thrilled to share that this December, our new Boscacci Performance Center will open for student use—a stunning new space where young women will train, move, and grow in confidence. In January, we’ll host a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate with our generous donors and community partners. There’s still time to be part of this transformational moment by contributing to the Power of Her, which continues to create spaces and opportunities that help our students thrive.
As we move through this vibrant season, I am filled with gratitude for the students, families, faculty, staff, and supporters who make Carondelet the extraordinary community it is. Thank you for embodying the spirit of unifying love and for all you do to ensure that our mission continues to flourish in the hearts of our young women.
Blessings,
Jessica Mix ’99
President

Attendance Updates
As we enter into the holiday season and the last weeks of the semester, we want to remind students and families of the importance of regular school attendance and proactive communication with our Attendance Office. Attendance is required during Finals Week and critical for closing out the semester. If your student will miss finals, for any reason, please reach out to Nicole Ebert in Attendance as soon as possible.
Winter Outerwear & Uniform Reminders
With the cooler months upon us, students may now wear plain, solid-colored outerwear jackets or raincoats over their Carondelet or DLS sweatshirts for warmth and protection from the weather. Please remember that students are not permitted to wear flannels, fuzzy sweatshirts, and non-uniform sweatshirts.
During colder weather, black leggings or tights are always allowed—and encouraged—under uniform skirts. However, sweatpants, pajama pants, and non-approved athletic team warm-ups are not part of the school uniform and should not be worn.
