Church Council Nominations

Prayerfully consider nominating two people to serve on our church council. Ballots will be accepted November 9-16, 2025 and can be found at the information kiosk in the Commons.

We will be collecting during the month of November for the food boxes for Christmas in the 414! Please help us create uniform food boxes by providing only items from the list below. Thank you for giving generously to be a blessing this Christmas season.

Books Are The Beginning - A Partnership for Nat Williams’ Students

Books Are The Beginning (BATB, a 403C non-profit) has partnered with communities, churches, individuals, and businesses across the state of Texas and in several African nations in support of literacy. Bacon Heights Baptist Church members have helped to support this work partnering with Marc and Glenna Applewhite in past years. This year through individual contributions for the 79414 area and in particular for Nat Williams Elementary School, we can continue to help students as they strive to achieve. Each child enrolled at Nat Williams Elementary will be gifted 4-5 personal books to take home. The student makes the choices of those books.

We are asking you to help provide a one-time gift. Our total need is $3500.00. Pray about your part in this endeavor. Please make your checks payable to: Books Are The Beginning with a designation for Nat Williams and give that check to Marc or Glenna Applewhite. You can also give cash. We would like to have this project wrapped up by the end of November so that we can place our orders for the coming semester. Thank you for helping the students at Nat Williams. God Bless You.

allows and join others who intercede for Bacon Heights each week.
