5th Annual Inspire Greatness Gala a Success!

Nearly 400 guests attended the 5th Annual Inspire Greatness Gala on Saturday, Oct. 27. SO ILL returned to the Ritz Carlton in Chicago for this signature event that raised more than $700,000 in support of our program.

2012 Gala
Gala co-chairs Patricia Hemingway Hall and
Joseph Gregoire with Special Olympics athletes Lauren Miller, Ashley Jones,
Katelyn Grunewald
and Garrett Anderson.

Led by emcee Rob Johnson (CBS 2 Chicago) and event co-chairs, Patricia Hemingway Hall (President & CEO of Health Care Service Corp.) and Joseph Gregoire (State Chairman for Illinois Banking, PNC Bank), guests enjoyed an elegant evening filled with dinner, dancing to the sounds of the City Lights Orchestra, and a robust live and silent auction.

Global Messenger Garrett Anderson wowed the audience with remarks from the podium and guests were treated to a short film about SO ILL athlete Ashley Jones who attended the event with her parents and 3 sisters.
