Get Your Home Tested for Radon
Radon is a colorless, odorless gas that can build up to harmful levels in your home.  It is the second leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers.  Radon is easily detected and high levels can be reduced.  Testing must be done during winter months when homes are closed up and the air is not changing due to open windows and doors.
Trained volunteers from the Senior Environment Corps will be conducting Radon test this winter for all interested homeowners.  The cost is $30 and includes all test materials and lab fees.  Confidential results will be mailed to you within 15 days.
For more information or to schedule an in-home test, call 508-394-4630, ext. 524. A Senior Corps staff member will return your call.

Your Holiday Shopping Can Help Support RSVP
On December 15, any purchases made at Barnes and Noble at the Cape Cod Mall using our assigned Bookfair ID (12268405) will help raise money for the RSVP 3R's program to buy books for the students who are participate in book clubs this year. The ID can also be used at the cafe inside Barnes and Noble or online.  Watch your inbox in the upcoming weeks for a certificate containing the Bookfair ID, that you can bring to the store with you.
