The Jefferson School African-American Heritage Center is honoring Veteran's Day
THIS Friday 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with their annual Commemorating the African American Military Experience.

There will be lectures by military historians in the Heritage Center about the African American military experience and reenactors and exhibitions in the Carver Recreation Center.

Literacy Volunteers is seeking volunteer tutors to assist adults in learning how to read, write, or speak English. Many of our students are refugees and immigrants trying to become integrated members of our community.

11 am - 1 pm at the Carver Recreation Center.
