Operations on tour!

On-site analysis of how top corporations run their facilities is invaluable to Tauber Institute students. Recently, Tauber students examined operations at Delta Airlines, Sunset Produce, Zingerman's Mail Order, and Shinola Detroit - and this spring break, students will have an opportunity to tour facilities in Italy on an International Tauber Trek.

"Although many people are open to hearing new ideas, they are very skeptical about changing anything unless it will have a direct impact on throughput. Therefore, our team has had to be data-driven and we have made sure to project the benefits of all of our recommendations before presenting them."
