Please Remember

PARKING SPOTS

When you come to either the school or the church during the school hours of 11 am-12 Noon or 3-4 pm,  please do NOT park in any numbered parking spots. We use these spots for carline.  Thank you!

Thanksgiving Music classes will focus on gross-motor songs and games such as Pilgrim Yoga, Turkey Hokey-Pokey and Turkey Tango.

Participating in music and movement helps your child achieve some important developmental milestones such as cooperation, awareness of their own bodies and simple responsible behaviors (such as "stop" and "start".)  Music class is a fun and noisy way to learn these important skills!

Miss Adell

 ChildrensChapel

During Children's Chapel our classes join Rev. Mary Kay, Rev. Will or Miss Maureen to pray, hear a Bible lesson and sing some fun songs.

This year, families are invited to join us for Children's Chapel for our two special family celebrations during the months of December and May.

For the remaining school months, the classes will join Rev. Mary Kay, Rev. Will and/or Miss Maureen in smaller groups for their lessons.

November Greetings!
Dear St. David's Families,

Conferences, Firetrucks, Thanksgiving, oh my! There is a lot going on this month at the preschool. Please see the Upcoming Events below.

You all should have signed up for a conference with your child's teacher. These are informal conferences just to give you an opportunity to touch base one-on-one with your teacher.

We wish you all a blessed Thanksgiving and hope you enjoy your time with family and friends. Safe travels as well for those venturing out of town!

You can find the school calendar and all upcoming events on our website's News & Events page.
News from the Directors
Greetings!

During the month of November, we are reminded to stop and give thanks.  As the Bible says, "to whom much is given, much is expected." We are truly blessed at St. David's Episcopal Preschool with a wonderful staff and great families that generously support our school through POPS in two important ways. When you participate in our Spirit Events or the End of the Year Celebration and Auction, POPS raises money that helps with special programs and special materials for the school. However, the largest portion of this money supports our Jim Tracy Scholarship Fund. This fund ensures that no child is ever turned away from our preschool for financial reasons. Over the course of our lives, many of us have financial needs for various reasons...unemployment, health crisis, traumatic events. These unexpected events can make preschool difficult or impossible to afford. Thanks to our scholarship fund, once a child is a student at St. David's, we commit to making sure that his education is not interrupted by events such as these. So when you participate in POPS fundraisers, YOU are helping families with financial needs.

Thank you for all your support and mark your calendars now for this year's auction on Friday, May 3, 2019. Help us to raise the money needed to ensure we can continue to serve God's mission in a place where no one stands alone and all are welcome.

Blessings,
Julie and Ann-Marie
