November 2019 News
Message from the Director:

Dear Members,

Happy November! I hope you were able to attend our annual dinner at Alder Creek last Thursday evening. It was a beautiful evening where we honored Citizen of the Year, Linda Finiki and Business of the Year, Kenmore Mercy Hospital. The Lifetime Achievement award went to Phyllis Gentner, a former Chamber Board member. A special thank you to Jim Fingerlow from Just Say Cheesecake for preparing the dinner. Two new board members, Maggie Higgins and Carol Harvey, were sworn in.  Congratulations to all.

Our G.L.O.W. (Growing Leadership Opportunities for Women) task force took a trip to the Buffalo History Museum on Wednesday, October 16. Our Board Vice President Bob Pecoraro led a brief tour of the Makers of WNY, including many women who made an impact in society. It was an enjoyable and informative evening.

Our Christmas party this year will be held at Webster’s Bistro on Monday, December 9 from 5-8pm. Tickets are $25.00 and includes dinner and entertainment by Joe Bolognese. There will be a cash bar. To make reservations, please call the Chamber office by December 2.
If you have not joined our text messaging service to become a VIP member, please text CCTONA to 57838. This is a great way to be reminded of the events and meetings the Chamber is holding, as well as being entered in our drawings.

Have a blessed Thanksgiving.

Cathy A. Oddo, Executive Director
