Unless otherwise noted, registration for Babylon patrons
begins online, by phone, or at the Circulation Desk Thursday, October 17.

  Out of district residents may register Thursday, October 31 .  A valid library card is required for each registrant.  Programs with fees must be registered for in person at the Circulation Desk.  No online registration will be permitted for these programs.
NOTE:  By taking part in our programs, your photo may be used in library publicity.

Honor and Memorial Program
Books honor the memory of loved ones, living or deceased, and serve as living tributes that enrich the community.  Whether celebrating a birthday, anniversary, holiday or congratulating a friend, the Babylon Public Library Honor and Memorial Program allows you to honor a special someone by making a donation in their name.  A commemorative bookplate  will be placed inside the book's cover.  This can be a onetime or perpetual donation.  If you are interested in this program, please see the Reference Librarian for more information.

Let's help shelter pets look adorable in hilarious tacky bandanas to promote their adoption!  One hour of Community Service will be awarded. Registration begins on Thursday, October 17 for students entering Grades 5-12.

Escape the library is a fun interactive game taking place right here at our library. Find hidden objects, figure out the clues, and solve the puzzles to earn your freedom. Please arrive promptly. Doors will be closed at 3:30, no latecomers allowed! Registration begins on Thursday, October 17 for students entering Grades 5-12.

Friday, February 28
The Advanced Battle of the Books 2020 will take place on Friday, February 28 for teens in grades 9-12. Registration begins Thursday, October 17 for Babylon patrons only. Please register by Friday, November 30 if you wish to participate.
 
STUDY ROOM
The Library now has one study room available for Babylon card holders on a first come, first served basis.  There is a 2 hour limit to use the room and you must sign in at the Reference Desk.
TUTORING ROOMS
 
The Library does not allow tutoring on the main floor.  During November, we will attempt to set aside a room will for tutoring, when possible, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 PM - 8:30 PM, and Saturdays from 9:30 AM- 4:30 PM.  Please call ahead to confirm. 
NOTE:  The library is glad to provide reasonable accommodations for patrons with special needs.  Please call us two weeks prior to a program to make arrangements.
