This adorable holiday sheep ornament was stitched with fun Rainbow Gallery fibers: Very Velvet and Fyre Werks for the Laid-Filling background stitch and Fluffy Fleece for the sheep's fur.
This is a boucle yarn that is bunched up and appliqued on top of the canvas to give a full furry look. Fluffy Fleece also works beautifully for Santa's beard and the cuffs on his coat and pants. The 3 candy cane buttons add a fun detail.

Last but not least, the stitcher included this fun, complimentary fabric for our finisher to use as backing on her ornament.
By Googling "whimsical fabrics" these two sites popped up with fabrics which would enhance a myriad of ornaments, pillows and other needlepoint projects.
