November 2019 Issue

CPWC Members,

As we enter the month of Thanksgiving, we offer our thanks and appreciation to Beverly Dozier for everything she has done for the club. Her tenure in the neighborhood, while short, was meaningful as she brings a friendly heart to everything she does. Beverly you will be missed!

Thank you, also, to Susan Weinstein, for preparing our CPWC directory, that will be available soon.  It's a labor intensive task, behind the scenes, that results in a document that helps us all stay connected. Susan we appreciate the time and thoughtfulness you bring to the directory!

This month we are Celebrating the Gift of Health and remembering the 1980s during our November 15th daytime program meeting, at the home of Susan Fulkerson. We are hosting a Kendra Scott Pop Up Shop at the meeting to raise money for Canine AssistantsPlan to make holiday gift purchases, or to decorate yourself for the upcoming holiday season. CPWC supported the service dog charity in the '90s, when it first started training and providing dogs to children and adults with medical issues. We even had service dogs walk our runway at a CPWC fashion show!

Are you interested in how to recycle more and create less trash? Join the Savvy Evening Group for the November 19th meeting. A speaker from Chattahoochee Riverkeepers will talk about their ongoing efforts to cleanup the river that runs through our neighborhoods' backyard and about recycling.

At our October daytime meeting a member commented that the most important thing CPWC does is connect neighbors to each other because everyone faces challenges in life when they need the support of other women. That idea is both a beautiful goal for our organization and something to celebrate.

With gratitude for CPWC,

Belinda & Chris
CPWC Co-Presidents

halloweenHalloween Fun!
