Illinois Armed Forces Legal Aid Network (IL-AFLAN)

IL-AFLAN provides civil legal services across Illinois to veterans, active duty military and their spouses and dependents and PILI refers pro bono matters in the 101 counties outside of Cook County. Help us serve those who have served us! Learn more.

Self-Represented Litigant Help Desks

Volunteers are needed in Champaign, Decatur, Madison, Peoria and Tazewell County Courthouses. This is a great bite-size pro bono opportunity with a big impact! Learn more.

What We've Been Up To

Kirkland & Ellis Assists Clients at November PILI Clinic

Thank you to attorneys from Kirkland & Ellis who volunteered at PILI’s Legal Prep Community Law Clinic in November! Four attorneys assisted three clients with legal problems including guardianship, eviction and other landlord/tenant issues. Read more.

PILI Partners with Habitat for Humanity for Legal Help Within Reach Clinic

On November 4th, 12 volunteers from the area assisted 10 clients who had recently received a home from Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Peoria Area. Read more.

PILI Receives Renewed Funding from Retirement Research Foundation

The Retirement Research Foundation (RRF) has awarded PILI a grant that will fund a Summer 2020 Law Student Intern at Center for Disability & Elder Law. Read more.

PILI Receives Grant from Moline Foundation

PILI is grateful to the Moline Foundation for their recent grant that will partially fund the Summer 2020 PILI Law Student Intern who will be placed at the Prairie State Legal Services’ office in Rock Island. Read more.
