Pembrokeshire Coast Path
by Danny Bernstein

Inspired by two CMC members' coastal hike in Wales, Danny Bernstein and Sharon McCarthy walked 186 miles on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. They will be presenting their adventure on Tuesday November 19, 2019 at REI-Asheville. Continuing the pilgrimage theme, Danny went to Mt. St. Michel in France, another Camino site.

USFS Joint News Release:
Ahead of expected busy fall wildfire season, fire officials urge caution and offer tips for prevention

A reminder about fire safety from the Forest Service. People might think that the recent rains will have eliminated the issue but it just has not been  enough to get us out of the drought. Dry conditions are expected to return once this weather passes through the region. Caution is requested, especially about fully extinguishing campfires and not leaving them unattended.
