Well, the weather is changing. That's for sure.
In my newsletter for the past several months, I have rotated Video Reports between TRREB, CREA and RRI. TRREB reports on the different communities in the GTA and surrounding areas. CREA reports on what is happening across Canada, and Richard Robbins, who years ago owned a Mincom brokerage and is presently an international speaker, is doing seminars and posting reports of the four major real estate boards across Canada.
Each video has something of interest for those who are thinking of relocating locally or moving to British Columbia or to the Maritimes. I also keep a record specifically of the activity in Durham Region and noticed that since the peak number of sales in July of this year, sales have been declining each month. The good news is that prices have not.
It may be an indication that there are less buyers (from previous pent-up demand) or we may be reaching a stall at this time.
