The City has a responsibility to follow the maximum occupancy limits set by the Province, so please book an appointment online before visiting City facilities. Mask Up. It's a Shared Responsibility to Keep Our Community Safe.
  • It is mandatory to wear masks/face coverings in indoor public spaces, including in common areas of multi-unit residential buildings, including apartments and condominiums. With common spaces such as corridors, lounges, lobbies, parking areas and elevators, it is everyone’s responsibility to help stop the community spread of the virus. 2021 Budget - Provide Your Input
The City of Brampton’s Proposed 2021 Budget aims to support and strengthen our community as we recover from the pandemic and continue to build our economy.
The proposed Budget is now available on the City website.  

To provide your input and help shape the discussions, you can do the following:

  • Join the Telephone Town Hall on Thursday, November 12 at 6:30 pm. To add your phone number to the call list, sign up on the City website or call 311

Remembrance Day - November 11
The City of Brampton will honour Remembrance Day 2020 online on November 11, alongside Royal Canadian Legion Branches 15 and 609. 

The webpage will go live on November 11 at 10:55 am, featuring a virtual service including the Moment of Silence and Placing of Wreaths, videos of Brampton veterans on what

Remembrance Day means to them, and an agenda for the morning.  
In addition, the City has posted banners along Main Street and Queen Street in the downtown as a tribute to Brampton’s Veterans of War. [more…]

The Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Campaign 
The Poppy Campaign runs until November 11. Funds raised from this campaign directly support Canada's serving and retired veterans and their families, while helping to ensure Canadians never forget the tremendous efforts of those who serve. Social Support Task Force
The team continues to work on addressing shelter and grocery needs of our residents through partner organizations and food banks. Since March 21, the team has made 2,753 grocery deliveries and provided 415 food pickups; transitioned 29 people dealing with homelessness into shelters in collaboration with our partner organizations; and distributed 115 emergency kits.
