District earns "A" in Niche ratings
Pearland ISD received an "A" rating according to Niche ratings and ranked fourth in the Houston metro area for excellent academics and student culture in the 2021 Niche ratings. AP Scholars
District AP Scholar Awards continue to rise
Pearland ISD proudly claims 698 AP Scholars in 2020, an increase from 652 last year. Students earned the awards from high achievement on AP exams. More
Free Meals
District offers free meals until May 27
Pearland ISD is committed to meeting the needs of its students. The district will continue to offer free meals until the end of the 2020-21 school year to all students, on-campus and remote learners, regardless of meal eligibility (free, reduced or full paid). On-campus learners are able to receive one breakfast and one lunch meal per day at no cost. Hiring
District is seeking world-class substitute teachers
Matthew Bounds is a retired U.S. Marine and teacher who finds daily fulfillment in Pearland ISD’s classrooms. A substitute teacher at several campuses, his passion for inspiring the students comes through very clearly, whether he is dressed in a tacky shirt to celebrate a themed school day or not.
