The Chamber has been receiving a number of Thank You letters from our local member businesses sharing sincere gratitude for the various free marketing services we offer for members. This is one way for our members to advertise and help generate additional revenue during these difficult times. As we continue to tackle the challenges of the COVID pandemic together, I would encourage all of our members to leverage this opportunity. I have often said that the strength of our community revolves around the strength of our local businesses and how we persevere. I believe this now more than ever as we enter into a second wave of state restrictions. Whether through e-blasts, print or sponsorship opportunities the Chamber has the ability to reach not only our community but the surrounding areas as well. Please let us know how we can help you!

While the world around us continues to change, there is one thing that remains [somewhat] constant – nature, as it continues to show just how amazing things truly are! It’s a good time to put on the sweater, grab a cup of your favorite warm beverage and walk through the beautiful neighborhoods in Lisle – to see the changing of colors all around you! Even if it’s for just a short period of time, take a walk, a few deep breathes and enjoy fall!

AMBASSADOR SPOTLIGHT
Claudine Rummer
Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce
Claudine Rummer is the Office Manager at the Chamber. She began working at the Chamber in April 2015. She became involved with the Ambassador Committee in July 2015 and has really enjoyed her time working with this Committee. While working with the Ambassador Committee, Claudine is in awe of how her fellow Ambassadors come together to mentor the new members as well as support all Chamber members.
Claudine grew up in Lisle and currently lives in Downers Grove. She enjoys photography and that is one of the many things she really enjoys about working at the Chamber. She also enjoys traveling and she considers herself lucky because she has been able to travel extensively. There are still many other destinations that she hopes to visit one day. The opportunity of working at the Chamber has provided her with a feeling of satisfaction when she sees the hard work that all of the members and volunteers put in. They are the ones that make the Chamber as great as it is. Claudine’s favorite quote is “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
