Step Up Your Digital Marketing:
Free Resources for Small Businesses
Please join our Sierra SBDC team at our Monthly Digital Marketing Hour every 2nd Wednesday of the month at 9am.

Sign up and learn more here.
Most businesses have now started to embrace digital technology and marketing as the only means to communicate with their customers and promote their products and services in our increasingly virtual world. With the array of digital tools and social media platforms available, businesses often ask which ones should be implemented first, when will I see results, and how can my company develop a meaningful digital marketing strategy with limited resources?

November 11th 9AM-10AM

This month, our session will cover the above questions and focus on how Facebook ads can help you build brand awareness for your business.

Join us for a marketing session focused on how to get the word out about your business as well as how you can use cost effective Facebook "boosts" to target a specific defined audience for less than a $1.00 a day.

Get a Christmas Tree
Get a leg on the Christmas season by getting your tree. Make it a fun outing and visit one of the Christmas tree farms in El Dorado County (think hot drinks, kiddie train rides, and more). If you’re looking for more adventure, you can cut down your own tree (but be sure to secure your permit early, as they do sell out!).

AMERICAN PICKERS to Film in California
Mike Wolfe, Frank Fritz, and their team are excited to return to California! They plan to film episodes of the hit series American Pickers throughout your area in December.

We understand that with the proliferation of COVID-19, we are all facing very uncertain times. We at American Pickers are taking the pandemic very seriously and will be following all guidelines and protocols for safe filming as outlined by the state and CDC. While we plan to be in California this December, we will continue to re-schedule if conditions change for the worse. Regardless, we are excited to continue to reach the many collectors in the area to discuss their years of picking!

AMERICAN PICKERS is a documentary series that explores the fascinating world of antique “picking” on History. The hit show follows Mike and Frank, two of the most skilled pickers in the business, as they hunt for America’s most valuable antiques. They are always excited to find sizeable, unique collections and learn the interesting stories behind them.

As they hit the back roads from coast to coast, Mike and Frank are on a mission to recycle and rescue forgotten relics. Along the way, the Pickers want to meet characters with remarkable and exceptional items. The pair hopes to give historically significant objects a new lease on life, while learning a thing or two about America’s past along the way.

Mike and Frank have seen a lot of rusty gold over the years and are always looking to discover something they’ve never seen before. They are ready to find extraordinary items and hear fascinating tales about them. AMERICAN PICKERS is looking for leads and would love to explore your hidden treasure. If you or someone you know has a large, private collection or accumulation of antiques that the Pickers can spend the better part of the day looking through, send us your name, phone number, location and description of the collection with photos to: or call 855-OLD-RUST. facebook: @GotAPick
