Welcome to another edition of Art4Healing® News!

This month - it's finally here! Our long-planned special holiday auction starts on November 6th. For two weeks, you'll be able to bid on wonderful items that include handmade items donated by artists and artisans. We're very excited for this final fundraising event of 2021, and hope you will join in the fun.

In the lead-up to the auction, we gave away an Extraordinary Art Supply Gift Basket. Thanks to all those who entered and help us congratulate our winner below.

Speaking of giving, we're also asking you to keep us in mind during your end-of-year giving plans. Due to the events of the recent year, we've trimmed our budget substantially. In order to continue our programs in the community, we need your help. Take a look at our new, easy-to-use giving page - every dollar counts!

Next, if you're up for an Art4Healing® workshop, we have several live online workshop options this month. We also are holding our final in-studio workshop of 2021. Space is limited, so check out the information and register early if you're interested.

Last month we announced that our Palette of Colors Annual Fundraising Gala is back on for next spring. Keep watching our newsletter and gala web page for more details as the event approaches. We're now soliciting sponsorships for the gala. If you or your company is interested, we invite you to contact us.

Lastly, In Art4Healing® Certification updates, the fall session of our Virtual Art4Healing® Certification Program is underway and our spring session is open for registration. We also have some great International Online Certification Program creations for you to enjoy. Remember, we're the ONLY worldwide provider of Art4Healing® Certification.

Demand for our services and programs is up across the board. More people than ever are turning to healing activities to improve their mental health, as we've shown in our latest Special Report. Art for Healing can help fill a void, helping people express their feelings when words fail.

We have several regular supporters we're thankful for. We also compete for grants to obtain funding. In the last year, we've seen businesses and individuals tightening philanthropy budgets. People are also directing funds to organizations that addressed immediate pandemic needs, such as food distribution.

In order to react, we've decreased staff and found ways to run a more lean office in Laguna Hills. We've trimmed over $100K from our annual operating budget this year. However, we can't trim our budget much further without cutting free Programs to the community.

We need your help now, more than ever. Will you consider donating to us this giving season?

Colors of Motivation - In-Studio - New!

Join us for a new, advanced workshop in Laguna Hills

We're back in the studio for our final in-person workshop of 2021. We hope you can join our founder, Laurie Zagon, as she presents new, advanced Art4Healing® curriculum. If you've already taken a workshop from us and want to explore Art4Healing® further, this is the perfect opportunity.

2022 Spring Gala Updates

We have exciting news! Thanks to the initiative of two of our valuable Board Members, planning for an in-person Palette of Colors Gala for Spring 2022 is well underway!

We're looking forward to getting together again next spring for the hats-off event. Details are still being planned but will include prizes for the best hat, an auction on hats decorated by our guild, gourmet chef-themed food and drink, and a great DJ. Start planning your festive hat now!

Art4Healing® International Online Certification

Bringing healing art to the world.

We are proud to offer the only globally recognized Art4Healing® Certification, exclusively available online.

To become certified online, students experience and complete Art4Healing® workshops and assignments through an online platform within a timeline of 9 months (or less).

Students are matched with an Art4Healing® Coach who will answer questions and review his/her assignments and facilitated workshops.

Since the program's inception, we've graduated 19 new Certified Art4Healing® Facilitators. These graduates are spreading Art4Healing® to their communities, from New Zealand to Canada to right here in Orange County, California.
