Language Bites šŸ‘„šŸŽ¤šŸ’¬
ļ»æThis event offers quick language lessons in Zoom breakout rooms, and we're looking for international students to lead these sessions! Come and share a "bite" of your first language with other students who want to get a "taste" of it. You can share a recipe, a song, some words or phrases - whatever you like! Fashion Show šŸ‘˜šŸ‘—šŸ„»
For this event, we're collecting videos from international students wearing traditional clothing from their cultures! Your video will be part of a virtual Fashion Show to stream live on Zoom. Film yourself, ask a friend to film you, we can film you on-campus, or send us videos of your family or friends back home! Sign up for more details.
No Class on These Days
You deserve a break! No class on November 10-11 or November 25-28:
Wednesday 11/10 and Friday 11/26 are Professional Development Flex Days at SRJC. That means no classes or activities, so your teachers can do some learning, too!
Thursday 11/11 is the Veterans Day Holiday. Take a moment to remember those who served their countries. The district will be closed.
In the American tradition, Thanksgiving Break will be 11/25-11/28. Eat a big meal on Thursday and consider what you're most thankful for this time of year. The district will be closed!
Important Updates
*NEW* Indoor Study Spaces
Starting 10/25 you can use the new Indoor Study Spaces on the Santa Rosa campus:
Mondays-Wednesdays, 10am-6pm @ the Tutorial Center (Doyle Library 1st Floor)
Thursdays, 10am-5pm @ the Intercultural Center (Pioneer Hall) on the 1st Floor
*RESCHEDULED* Food Distribution
This Monday, November 1st you can get FREE FOOD from 9-11am in the Emeritus Parking Lot on the Santa Rosa campus. Just bring your Student ID number!
COVID-19 Vaccination Mandate
All students taking in-person classes are now required to be fully vaccinated or tested weekly for COVID-19. Masks are still required indoors at all times. Call 707-524-1500 with any questions.
Register for Spring 2022 Classes
The Spring 2022 class schedule will be posted on Monday 11/1, along with your priority registration appointment. Check-in with your Counselor and pay your Fall 2021 tuition fees now so you can register during Priority 2 on December 1st!

Meet Juan Pablo!
Hi everyone! My name is Juan Pablo Baquero, I am 19 years old, and I am an international student at SRJC coming all the way from Ecuador. I have moved two times to two different countries, and it has given me the chance to meet a lot of people but also to grow as a person. I am currently studying civil engineering, which has been a challenge but also a joy for my experience in college. A fun fact about me, is that I have always dreamt about being a professional soccer player, so Iā€™m planning to join the SRJC soccer team soon.
