VIDEO OF THE MONTH: "Courage Comes from Trust" with Simon Sinek
Our courage comes from the confidence that someone else is looking out for us. As leaders, we should let others know that they can reach out for help, but we should also be open about when we need help ourselves.
ARTICLE OF THE MONTH: WTS – Panel on Women Transportation Leaders in Connecticut
On October 14th, during the Transportation Mini Series hosted by the CT Chapter of WTS, the T2 Center had the privilege of hosting a panel discussion with women leaders from Connecticut. The following leaders participated on the panel:
Gabriella Circosta Cohee – Town of Greenwich
Melissa Evans – T2 Center - UConn
Natasha Fatu – CT Dept. of Transportation
Sally Katz – Town of Wethersfield
Theresa “Tess” Schwartz – T2 Center - UConn
During the conversation, we discussed challenges, opportunities, emerging technologies, and the value of encouraging and supporting women to enter and grow in this industry. It was such a pleasure to participate in this effort and we look forward to many more conversations in the future!
