November is National Adoption Awareness Month (NAAM). It is a busy time for our adoption community. There are conferences, panels, and adoption-related events to attend. There are so many remarkable people in our adoptee community working overtime to keep this month focused on the adoptee experience. Below we have listed just a fraction of some of the adoptee-led events occurring this month.
In the spirit of uplifting our adoptee voices, our lived experiences, and our expertise, during the month of November, Adoption Mosaic has four previously recorded We the Experts panels available to view at no charge; two panels featuring adult adoptees and two featuring non-adopted members of the constellation. At Adoption Mosaic we believe a connected community is a stronger community and better serves all people when we can learn and support each other.
I hope to see many of you at our upcoming We the Experts: Adoptee Speaker Series panel featuring four adoptees who have adopted. We also want to give another big thank you to last month's panelists (Adoptees & Humor): Jake Kroeger, Erin Alexis, Rachel Dunbar, and Skyler Higley,
